Using the power of Tokidoki, Four Year Strong lyrics, sweet tattoos and general ruthlessness, we're going to bring world peace and end racism.
Join us on our quest to make the world a better, more colourful and more bad-ass place.
In 2009, Josh and Jess decided to get Tokidoki tattoos, with the words "Team Up!" underneath, from the Four Year Strong song "Heros Get Remembered, Legends Never Die." Teaming up is all about sticking with your friends, being awesome and being able to do anything with them by your side.
In early 2010, they realized that this was something that they needed to get their friends in on too. By the beginning of February, another 3 friends had joined the ranks.
The plan is to get everyone that they know to get them, who in turn will get everyone that they know to get them. Eventually, everyone in the world will have one. There are currently Team Up tattoos in New Zealand and Canada - be the first in your country to get one!
Why is this a good thing? Say you accidentally crash into someone's car. They jump out, ready to beat the almighty heck out of you. As they go to swing, they notice your Team Up tattoo, and roll up their sleeve to reveal theirs. The punch turns into a high-five, and you got out for a beer and to talk about how they found out about Team Upping. Boom. World peace. High-fiving and fist-bumping will reign supreme and any conflict will be averted when both parties are rocking the Team Up tattoo and matching attitude.
And say goodbye to racism too - we'll all be the same colour. Multi-coloured!
Get amongst it. Join the team.
Step 1: Find an awesome Tokidoki character - it's easy! There's so many, and they're all equally amazing. If Tokidoki really isn't your thing, then pick something else! A tattoo of your mum, a ghost, your favourite cartoon character, a dolphin with a knife in it's mouth jumping through a flaming hoop - anything, or nothing at all. Just get the words if that's more your thing!
Step 2: Find an equally good tattoo artist.
Step 3: Add the words Team Up!
Step 4: Get that bad boy tattooed.
Step 5: Spread the word! Get your friends to get one, and tell them to get their friends to get one, too!
Sad enough to say that alone I can barely light a match,
But together we can burn this place down,
Sorry about the mess,
But when we team up, team up,
We always seem to bring this place to the ground.
